Terms of use
Last updated 19 September 2026
By using Bundlemate you agree to these terms. In short: we are a noticeboard. We connect people who want to sell second-hand items with people who want to buy them, and everything after that is between you and the other person.
1. What we are, and what we are not
Bundlemate is operated by Siddhant Lodha (ABN 70 206 162 716) (“we”, “us”). It is a listings service only. We are not a party to any sale, purchase, swap or other arrangement between users.
We do not own, hold, inspect, store, deliver or guarantee any item. We do not handle payment for items. We do not verify who anyone is, or whether a listing is accurate.
We are not responsible for the items listed, for payment, for pickup or delivery, or for the conduct of any user, whether that person is a seller, a buyer, or the other owner in a bundle. Inspect items before you pay, and take sensible care when you meet someone.
2. Using the site
- You must be at least 18 to post a listing or pay a fee.
- There are no accounts. When you post, we email you a private edit link. Anyone who has that link can change or remove your listing, so keep it to yourself. We can't recover a lost link.
- You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your details accurate.
3. What you can list
Only list items that you own or are allowed to sell, that are legal to sell in Australia, and that you describe honestly. Photos must be of the actual item.
You must not list:
- weapons, firearms, ammunition or explosives;
- illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia;
- stolen, counterfeit or pirated goods;
- items that are recalled, banned or do not meet mandatory Australian safety standards;
- live animals;
- alcohol, tobacco, vapes or prescription medicines;
- adult or offensive content;
- anything that is a service, a vehicle, real estate, or a job, rather than a second-hand item.
Please do not put phone numbers, email addresses or other contact details in photos, titles or descriptions. Contact details are shown only to people who ask for them, which helps keep them away from scrapers and spammers.
We may remove any listing, or block anyone, at any time and without notice, including when we think a rule has been broken.
4. Buying and selling
Buyers can reveal a seller's contact details for free, then agree the price, payment and pickup with the seller directly. Any payment for an item goes straight from the buyer to the seller. It never passes through us.
Listings expire automatically once the must-go-by date has passed, or after 60 days, whichever comes first. A seller can mark a listing as sold at any time.
5. Bundles
Two owners of nearby items can link their listings so they are shown together at a combined price. A bundle only goes live when both owners have agreed. The public bundle page shows the combined price and each owner's share separately.
A buyer pays each owner directly for that owner's own item. Each owner is responsible only for their own item, and neither owner is responsible for the other's. We do not guarantee that any owner will agree to, or complete, a bundle. Either owner can leave a bundle at any time, and a bundle ends automatically if either item is sold or its listing expires.
6. The $1 fee
Contacting another owner to arrange a bundle costs a one-off fee of AUD $1 for each contact you unlock. It is paid by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The fee pays for unlocking the other owner's contact details and for the bundle tools, and it is the only fee we charge.
We can't promise the other owner will reply or agree to a bundle. The fee is not refunded for that reason. It is refunded where the law says it must be, for example if we failed to provide what you paid for. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Limits on our responsibility
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from dealings between users, including a listing that is wrong, an item that is faulty, unsafe or never turns up, or a payment dispute.
Some rights cannot be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a law allows us to limit our liability for a breach of those, we limit it to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
8. Other things
We may change these terms, or the site, from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the courts of Queensland.
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy policy. To report a listing, ask for something to be removed, or ask us anything else, email hello@bundlemate.store.
